I run a video agency. Unsure what position to hire for first.

I run a video agency. It’s a (UK) limited company. I do the sales and manage clients, work on strategy etc. I’m the only employee of the business.

Then I hire freelance filmmakers/editors (who I’ve known for many years) and they make the content. I project manage and deliver to the client.

It’s working well but I’m at the stage now where I can grow this into a “real” agency if I want. The only thing is, I’m unsure as to which position I hire for first.

Do I get someone to work on sales/marketing with me so they are revenue generating?

Or is it another role that I’m not seeing?

If anyone has gone from basically just one person to a team, I’d love to know how you did it, thank you.
